1941 Bygget som Flower Class korvett HMS RANUNCULUS av Wm. Simons & Co. Ltd., Renfrew på regning av den engelske Admiralty (Royal Navy). Sjøsatt 25/06, ferdigstilt 28/7 og overført som ny til den Frie Franske Marine som RENONCULE (K 117)
1947 Tilbakelevert engelske marinen (RN) fra Frankrike. Unngikk etterkrigsopplag da skipet ble solgt til The South Georgia Co (Chr. Salvesen & Co Ltd), Leith og ombygget til bøyebåt ved Smith’s Dock Co., Middlesbrough .
1948 Overlevert selskapet i januar som SOUTHERN LILY og registeret i skipsregisteret som nummer 181196
Først benyttet på landstasjon Hawke Harbour, Labrador i sommersesongen som bøyebåt, før hun fikk sin antarktiske debut som bøyebåt for Fl/k SOUTHERN VENTURER i sesongen 1948/49.
1949 Etter endt sesong 1948/49, går i opplag i Leith Harbour, Syd-Georgia over sommeren. Deltar sesongen 1949/50 som bøye/taubåt for SOUTHERN VENTURER.
Skytter var Arne Kristiansen, Nøtterøy.
1950 Kokeri og hvalbåter forlater fangstfeltet 15/03. SOUTHERN LILY ankommer Leith Harbour 18/03 og går videre til South Shilds via St. Vincent 13/04. Ankommer South Shilds 24/04. Blir overhalt og reparasjon ved Smith’s Dock Co Ltd, Middlesbrough den sommeren.

1963 Ankom opplags bøyene i Melsomvik sent på våren etter avsluttet sesong. Selskapet ville ikke investere i en ny sesong i isen. Hun forble i opplag inntil hugging.
1966 Solgt for hugging i Belgia av Van Heyghen Freres.
1967 Ankom huggere i Brügge den 09/01-1967.
1 x stempel dampmaskin, (steam reciprocation), type trippel ekspansjon (triple exp.). 4-sylindret, syl. dia.: 18,5”–31”–31”–38,5', slag/stroke: 30”, 2.750 IHK v/185 o. min (standard korvett maskin). Bygget av William Simons & Co. Ltd., Renfrew
2 x hoved dampkjeler (vannrørskjeler/watertube boilers), oljefyrt (Admiralty type/standard korvettkjeler). Total heteflate (HF) 7.150 kv/ft. Arbeidstrykk 225 PSI. Bygget av William Simons & Co. Ltd., Renfrew
1941 Built as Flower Class Corvette HMS RANUNCULUS by Wm. Simons & Co. Ltd., Renfrew for the Admiralty (Royal Navy) (RN). Launched 25/06, completed 28/07 and hired out as new to the Free French Navy, renamed RENONCULE (K 117).
1947 Returned to Royal Navy and sold to The South Georgia Co (Chr. Salvesen & Co Ltd), Leith for whaling purposes. Converted to bouy boat by Smith’s Dock Co., Middlesbrough.
1948 Registered with official number 181196. In January commissioned by Salvesen as SOUTHERN LILY. Used as tugboat at the Polar Whaling Co’s shore station Hawke Harbour, Labrador during the summer, before her Antarctic debut as bouy boat for Fl/F SOUTHERN VENTURER, 1948/49 season.
1949 After end of season 1948/49, left over at Leith Harbour, South-Georgia between the seasons.
Catching season 1949/50 as buoy boat for SOUTHERN VENTURER.
Shooter was Arne Kristiansen, Nøtterøy.
1950 Factory and catchers left whaling ground 15/03. SOUTHERN LILY called Leith Harbour 18/03 and continued for South Shilds via St. Vincent 13/04. Arrived South Shilds 24/04. Overhauled and repaired at Smith’s Dock Co Ltd, Middlesbrough this summer.
1952 Completed as complete catcher.

1963 Laid-up at Melsomvik near Tønsberg, after the final season of 1962/63. The company took a decision, not to invest in a new pelagic whaling season. She remains in the lay-up mode until breaking.
1966 Sold for scrapping in Belgium by Van Heyghen Freres.
1967 Arrived breakers in Brügge 09/01-1967
