1929 Skipet var kontrahert som bygg nr. 610 ved William Doxford & Sons, Sunderland.
1931 Bygget som motor tanker KATY ved William Doxford & Sons, Sunderland for Skips A/S Modena (A/S Ivarans Rederi), Oslo. Byggeprisen var kr. 2.891.000. Sjøsatt 15/11-1930. Levert i januar 1931. Skips A/S Modena var et nyopprettet selskap, disponert av Ivar An. Christensen.
1936 Solgt til Holter-Sørensens Tankrederi, men fortsatt disponert av Ivar An. Christensens etterfølger, skipsreder Sverre Holter-Sørensen. Salgssummen var kr. 1.573.672.
1939 Den 05/04-1939, lå skipet i dokk Sandefjord. Under reparasjons arbeid oppstod det en voldsom eksplosjon i en av tankene. 7 arbeidere ble drept og 12 skadet. Den etterfølgende reparasjon tok 2 måneder.
1940 Da Norge ble dratt med i krigen i april, var skipet i Den Persiske Gulf på reise fra Durban, Syd-Afrika til Abadan. Hun deltok fra da av deltok hun i Nortraship flåte.
1942 KATY redder 05/05 fire overlevende fra den amerikanske tanker MUNGER T. BALL som var senket av tysk ubåt U-507 (Schacht) samme dag. De ble bragt og landsatt i Key West, Florida.
1945 KATY går utenom konvoi tilhørighet under ledelse av kaptein Reidar Thorn. Den 23/04-1945 ble hun torpedert i posisjon 35.46N/74.50V av den tyske ubåt U 548.
Skipet var i ballast. Ingen ble skadet. Skipet kom ved egen hjelp inn til Newport News, USA og fortsatte etter midlertidig besiktigelse til Baltimore hvor hun ble kondemnert. Erstatningsbeløpet var 271.698 pund.
1946 Skipet ble i skadet tilstand tilbakekjøpt av rederiet, reparert i februar 1946 og satt i fart.
1949 Solgt til P/R Mistra (Yngvar Hvistendahl), Tønsberg, omdøpt MISTRA.
1953 Solgt til R. Mari Pino og registrert i Panama. Omdøpt ANIBAL.
1957 Solgt til hugging, og ankom 22/06-1957 Antwerpen, Belgia for hugging.
1929 The newbuilding contract was sign as new building no. 610 at William Doxford & Sons, Sunderland.
1931 Built as motor tanker KATY by William Doxford & Sons, Sunderland for Skips A/S Modena (A/S Ivarans Rederi), Oslo. New building price was NOK 2.891.000. Launched on 15/11-1930. Completed in January 1931. Skips A/S Modena was a newly established company managed by Ivar An. Christensen.
1936 Sold to Holter-Sørensens Tankrederi, but still managed by A/S Ivarans Rederi, Mr. Ivar An. Christensen’s successor, ship owner Sverre Holter-Sørensen. Sold for NOK 1.573.672.
1939 On 05/04-1939, the ship was in drydock in Sandefjord. During repair work an explosion occur in one of the tanks. 7 workers at the yard were killed and 12 wounded. The following repair took abt. 2 month.
1940 As Norway was involved in the WWII in the days of April, the ship was located in the Persian Gulf on voyage from Durban, South-Africa to Abadan. From that time, she was included in the Nortraship fleet.
1942 KATY rescues 05/05 four survivors from the American oil tanker MUNGER T. BALL which was sunk by German submarine U-507 (Schacht) the same day. They were brought and landed in Key West, Florida
1945 KATY bypasses the convoy affiliation under the command of Captain Reidar Thorn. On 23/04-1945 she was hit by a torpedo in position 35.46N/74.50W from the German submarine U 548. She was in ballast at the time. No casualties. She arrived Newport News, USA by own power. She was temporary surveyed and proceeded to Baltimore where she was condemned. Insurance was released and the sum was £271.698.
1946 The ship was purchased from the insurer and back to the company and repaired. In February she was back in business.
1949 Sold to P/R Mistra (Yngvar Hvistendahl), Tønsberg, renamed MISTRA.
1953 Sold to R. Mari Pino and registered in Panama. Renamed ANIBAL.
1957 Sold to breaking. Arrived on 22/06-1957 Antwerp, Belgium for breaking.
