1900 Overført til Taylor & Sanderson SS Co., Ltd. (Taylor & Sanderson), Sunderland, UK.
1908 Hvalfanger-A/S Sydhavet (The Southern Whaling Co., Ltd.) (Peder Bogen), Sandefjord ble stiftet 30/07-1908. Formålet var hvalfangst rundt øyene Syd-Shetland i Sydishavet. Innkjøpt av Hvalfanger-A/S Sydhavet for benyttelse som hvalkokeri. Ombygd og omdøpt SVEND FOYN. Ombygningen kom på kr. 262.000. Ideen med kokeriet var å kunne flytte fra felt til felt, slik at det kunne drive fangst gjennom hele året, men det viste seg at det ikke var lønnsomt å utruste to ekspedisjoner hvert år, dessuten var kokeriet for lite og dyrt å drifte. Satt i fangst ved Syd-Shetland i sesongen 1908/09 med 3 hvalbåter. En egen hvalbåt bygd i 1912 og to innleide. En av dem var T. H. DAHL (bygd 1910, A/S Victor)).
Ankom Syd-Shetlandsøyene 01/12. Det meldes: «Der observertes ingen is, ikke engang drivende isfjeld»
1909 Det var store åteforekomster, men hvalen var mager helt til slutten av januar måned. Det ble også meldt om mye østlig storm som forstyrret fangsten.
I juni startet fangsten med base i Saldanha Bay i Syd-Afrika. Her ble det produsert 3.500 fat. Ellers så fant man ut at kokeriet var for dyrt i drift og størrelsen var for liten.
1913 Sesongen 1913/14 bortleid for kr. 73.160.
1914 Johan Rasmussen overtar som disponent.
Sesongen 1914/15. SVEND FOYN går fra Falklands Øyene. Allerede dagen etter møter man isen. Store mengder pakkis stuet inn mellom store isfjell. Først 10/12 fant man åpning og kunne ta seg inn til Deception. Ekspedisjonen gikk til Belgica -stredet hvor det ikke var noe ishindringer.
1915 Solgt til A/S Cora (Chr. Nielsen & Co.), Larvik i februar. Omdøpt COSSACK.
1916 Solgt til Skibs-A/S Adelante (Aug. F. Christensen), Kristiania.
Utsatt for brann i bunkerkull og medfølgende eksplosjon i Nord-Atlanteren 12/08-1916. Var på reise fra New-Orleans, US til Dublin, Irland med en last bensin og petroleum på fat. 9 mann omkom.

1908 Hvalfanger-A/S Sydhavet (The Southern Whaling Co., Ltd.) (Peder Bogen), Sandefjord was founded 30/07-1908. The purpose was whaling around the islands of South Shetland in the South Sea. Purchased by Hvalfanger-A / S Sydhavet for use as whaling factory. Converted and renamed SVEND FOYN. The conversion came to NOK. 262.000. The idea of the factory was to be able to move from field to field so that it could carry catches throughout the year, but it did not prove to be profitable to equip two expeditions each year, and the factory was too small and expensive to operate. Engaged in whaling at South Shetland in the season 1908/09 with 3 catchers. An owned catcher built in 1912 and two hired. One of them was T. H. DAHL (built 1910, owned by A/S Victor of Tønsberg).
Arrived the South Shetland Islands 01/12. It is reported: "No ice is observed, not even icebergs".
1909 There were large peatlands, but the whale was lean until the end of January. There was also reported a lot of eastern storm that disturbed the catch.
In June, the catch started at Saldanha Bay in South Africa. Here, 3,500 barrels were produced. Otherwise, again, it was found that the factory was too expensive in operation and the size was too small.
1913 Season 1913/14 hired out for NOK 73,160.
1914 Johan Rasmussen took over as manager as Peder Bogen, the owner, died in august.
Season 1914/15, SVEND FOYN goes from the Falklands Islands. Already the next day they meet the ice. Large amounts of packets stowed in between large icebergs. Firstly on 10/12 an opening was found and they could get into Deception. The expedition went to the Belgica Strait where there were no ice barriers.
1915 Sold to A/S Cora (Chr. Nielsen & Co.), Larvik in February. Renamed COSSACK.
1916 Sold to Skibs-A/S Adelante (Aug. F. Christiansen), Kristiania (Oslo), Norway. Exposed to fire in the bunker coal, accompanying explosion in the North Atlantic 12/08-1916. On route from New Orleans, US to Dublin, Ireland with a cargo gasoline and petroleum in barrels on board. 9 men died.
