1908 Bygget som hvalbåt VIKING ved Kaldnes Patentslip & mek. Verksted, Tønsberg for Tønsberg Hvalfangeri (Oscar Hytten), Tønsberg. Satt i fangst ved selskapets Husvik Harbour stasjon på Syd-Georgia. Fartøyet hadde en prislapp på ca. NOK 54.000. (NB: på verkstedets byggeliste oppgitt som VIKING 1)
1911 Solgt til Mossel Bay Whaling Co (Johs. Bruu, Tønsberg disponent) i juli for en pris av NOK 90.000.
1913 Solgt til Union Whaling, Durban og omdøpt LARSEN. (The Mossel Bay Whaling Co, Syd-Afrika ble likvidert i 1913).
1919 Solgt til det franske linjerederi Compagnie Generale Transatlantique, Le Havre og ombygget til slepebåt. Muligens omdøpt TUG(?). Senere omdøpt CHIMÉRE. Registrert i Le Havre.
1930 Omkring denne tiden ble den ombygget til tråler under samme navn. Denne gang registrert i Dieppe.
1940 Forsvant fra registeret under WWII.
1908 Built as whale catcher VIKING by Kaldnes Patentslip & mek. Verksted, Tønsberg for A/S Tønsberg Hvalfangeri (Oscar Hytten), Tønsberg. Started catching for the company’s South Georgia shore-station Husvik Harbour. The vessel cost was abt. NOK 54.000
1911 Sold to Mossel Bay Whaling Co. (Johs. Bruu, Tønsberg as manager) in July for a price of NOK 90.000.
1913 Sold to Union Whaling, Durban and renamed LARSEN (The Mossel Bay Whaling Co was terminated in 1913).
1919 Sold to a French company, the Compagnie Generale Transatlantique (French Line), Le Havre and was converted to tug. Probably renamed TUG(?). Later renamed CHIMÉRE and Le Havre as home port.
1930 Around 1930 she was sold to Bourgoix & Cie, Dieppe and converted to trawler under the same name. This time with Dieppe as home port.
1940 Disappeared from the registers during WWII
