Wilson, Sons & Co. Ltd, Hull.1906 Solgt til A/S Thorsdal (J. Johanson & Co.), Kristiania. Omdøpt til THORSDAL1916 Ny disponent for J. Johanson & Co ble Magnus E. Melsom, Larvik. Rederiet flyttet til Larvik i april.1917 Torpedert 24/07 av den tyske ubåten U 44 (Kapitänleutnant Paul Wagenführ) ved Scotlands vestkyst (55.40N-13.38V) mens hun var på reise fra Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada til Ardrossan, Scotland med trelast.Mannskapet gikk i båtene. Ubåten dukket opp og spurte på norsk etter siste nytt før den senket THORSDAL med kanonild. Mannskapet ble reddet neste morgen av en britisk krysser. Forsikringssum NOK 1.500.000.

Johanson & Co. and moved the company to Larvik in April.1917 Torpedoed 24/07 by the German submarine U 44 (Kapitänleutnant Paul Wagenführ) off Scotland West Coast (55.40N-13.38W) while on a voyage from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada to Ardrossan, Scotland with timber.The crew abandoned to the lifeboats. The submarine surfaced and asked for the latest news before shelling THORSDAL until she sank.The crew was rescued the next morning by a British cruiser.Insurance NOK 1.500.000
